Sorry....

I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted! I'm going to give this whole blogging thing a go again.  Between three children, a part-time job, school and making all the cute bows and dresses, I've been a tad busy :) Now it is summertime, so hopefully this means catch up on all the things I didn't get to do while school was in.

Chocolate Overload

I think I may need to give up baking.....

Today's menu includes a salted chocolate cupcake filled with salted caramel and topped with a dark chocolate buttercream

and

A chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter center and peanut butter frosting.

Tan Tan, you better get here quick to pick these up or I may not be able to control myself. :)

I know that I can have one if I want.  But I really am scared to put the recipe into the recipe builder at weightwatchers.com.  I'm pretty sure I will break it, or Nancy will pop out of the screen and tsk tsk me.

{For a Reason}

I finally {with the help of another wonderful crafty friend} came up with a name that I can not only open my etsy store with, but that I can also use for my cakes! This has been a long time in the making.  I've been searching for a way to merge my interests and businesses together in a way that makes sense.

People are put in your life for a reason. I've certainly met my fair share of people that I wish weren't put in my life at all, but there are always lessons to be learned.  I think it is amazing when two people are able to meet, find they have so much in common, and then start a friendship.  There is nothing like sharing ideas with a good friend.
